Montreal-based Charles Hobson and Marie-Noelle Choquette are the innovative guitar and flute duo, Beija-Flor.  Together, they present a dynamic and beautiful repertoire of classical works inspired by cultures from around the world. “…an incredibly dynamic and creative team“, “masterful arrangements.” (Flute Quarterly, USA).

You’re invited to our Annual General Meeting on Sunday, May 4th, at 5:00 pm at the Pacific Spirit United Church library, 2195 W. 45th Ave – Vancouver, BC V6M 2J2. The meeting will be in-person and online via Google Meets.

The 6th Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival, presented in collaboration with the VCGS and sponsored by Capilano University, is designed as an intensive learning experience in the beautiful setting of Capilano University in North Vancouver. VCGFest is a unique opportunity for guitarists of all levels to participate in masterclasses, workshops, guitar orchestra, a participants’ concert and to be inspired by faculty concerts and workshops by Marc Teicholz, Michael Kolk, Tejay Liao, Alec Pearson, David Sossa, Lucida Zhao, and Luis Angel Medina.
