Raphaël Feuillâtre
The Vancouver Recital Society presents Raphaël Feuillâtre. Raphaël was born in Djibouti, on the northeastern coast of Africa, raised in Western France and studied at the Conservatoire de Nantes and later at the Paris Conservatoire. He made his international breakthrough as the 2018 winner of the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America. Since then, Raphaël’s burgeoning career has taken him around the world, where he has dazzled audiences with his playing. In 2021, he performed for the Vancouver Classic Guitar Society.

Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival 2024
The 5th Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival, presented in collaboration with the VCGS and sponsored by Capilano University, is designed as an intensive learning experience in the beautiful setting of Capilano University in North Vancouver. VCGFest is a unique opportunity for guitarists of all levels to participate in masterclasses, workshops, guitar orchestra, a participants’ concert and to be inspired by faculty concerts by Iliana Matos, Dr. Jeffrey McFadden, Dr. Daniel Ramjattan and Luis Angel Medina.
