Michael Kolk, Anna Pietrzak and Simon Farintosh all perform at the Vancouver Classical Guitar Festival in a live-streamed and in-person faculty concert in the Deer Lake Gallery. Now back on the west coast, Michael Kolk is hailed as one of Canada’s most brilliant and expressive classical guitarists. Top prize winner of many competitions, Michael is well known for performing solo and in the HK Duo with Drew Henderson. Anna Pietrzak, laureate of many European guitar competitions, is a PhD., pedagogue, performer, recording artist and founder of Vancouver Guitar Orchestra. Simon Farintosh is a composer, teacher, graduate of U. Victoria, and currently pursuing a Doctorate in Musical Arts at U. of Toronto.
