Don Hlus was a member of the music faculty at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) for 26 years. He served as Department Chair for six of those years. In addition to working with students in-studio lessons, coaching chamber ensembles, and teaching fretboard harmony, he also taught courses on the Music Industry and Career Development & Entrepreneurship. In 2019, Don retired from the university and established the Fort Langley Guitar Studio where he is thrilled to work with talented young musicians and guitar enthusiasts in advancing their craft.
